Family of Nepalese hostage Bipin Joshi arrives in Israel to seek son's return

The mother and sister of Bipin Joshi, a Nepalese agricultural volunteer abducted from Kibbutz Alumim on October 7, have arrived in Israel for the first time since his capture. Joshi's mother made an emotional plea for his release, while his sister expressed gratitude to the Israeli people and officials for their support. The family was greeted at the airport by Joshi's friends and the president of his college, who shared memories of Bipin's positive spirit and love for music and soccer. During their visit, the family will meet with government officials, receive updates on Joshi's condition, and visit the places he lived and worked. Authorities remain deeply concerned for Joshi's fate, as no sign of life has been received since November 2023, and he is one of two hostages whose status is currently unknown.
