Israeli authorities have filed a request in the Haifa District Court to confiscate 50 boats used in recent Gaza-bound flotillas, alleging that many of the vessels were funded and coordinated by Hamas through a front company. The State Attorney's Office claims that a significant number of the boats were owned by Neptune Cyber, which is said to operate under an organization aligned with Hamas. Prosecutors argue that international law allows Israel to seize the ships due to their attempt to breach the naval blockade on Gaza. The flotillas, intercepted by the Israeli navy in October, involved hundreds of activists and were described as highly organized efforts to challenge the blockade.
