Ondrasik was inspired by the parallels between the October 7 Hamas attacks in Israel and the trauma Americans experienced on 9/11. The song honors all the hostages, with a special focus on 24-year-old Alon Ohel, who was abducted in 2023. Ondrasik dreams of playing the song with Alon at his side one day.
