Education Minister Yoav Kisch announced a new plan to enhance Jewish education in Israeli schools, requiring all students to have an hour of Bible study per week. The plan also includes new classes on Zionism and Israel's wars, as well as tours of Jewish heritage sites. The education budget for Jewish studies will be raised from 1% to 4%.
