Three Israeli soldiers were killed and two wounded by an explosive device in northern Gaza's Jabalia. The slain soldiers were identified as Staff Sgt. Lior Steinberg, Staff Sgt. Ofek Barhana, and Staff Sgt. Omer Van Gelder, all serving in the Givati Brigade's Rotem Battalion.
