The Israeli military reported conducting airstrikes on several Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, including weapons depots, rocket launchers, and storage sites for construction vehicles. According to military statements, these sites were used by Hezbollah to rebuild its infrastructure, allegedly putting Lebanese civilians at risk by operating in their vicinity. The military accused Hezbollah of violating previous understandings between Israel and Lebanon by continuing its activities in the area. Since the ceasefire in November 2024, the military claims to have carried out over 500 airstrikes, resulting in the deaths of at least 230 operatives and the destruction of numerous Hezbollah sites.
