The stolen footage, some of which showed intimate medical procedures, was circulated on Telegram and YouTube, with access sold through paid subscriptions. Authorities say the hackers infiltrated at least 50,000 cameras in hospitals, schools, offices, and private homes, exposing serious flaws in privacy protection and cybersecurity. Eight suspects have been arrested, and experts warn that poor security settings and lack of training leave many camera systems vulnerable to such attacks.
