S.Africa says 'suspicious' flights from Israel show 'agenda to...

South Africa has raised concerns over the recent arrival of more than 150 Palestinians on a chartered flight from Israel, suggesting it is part of a broader effort to remove Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank. The travellers, who reportedly paid a shadowy group called Al-Majd for their passage, arrived without Israeli departure stamps and were initially held on the plane for 12 hours before being allowed entry. Many of the arrivals said they were misled about their final destination, with some believing they were headed to other countries, and found themselves without promised accommodations or further contact from the organisers. South African authorities, along with the Palestinian embassy, have condemned the operation as exploitative and are investigating the circumstances, warning against further such flights and reiterating their opposition to any forced displacement of Palestinians.
