Israeli soldiers shot and killed a Palestinian man in the northern West Bank town of Qabatiya after he threw an explosive device at troops during a military raid. The soldiers, who were not injured, responded with gunfire, resulting in the death of the attacker, identified by Palestinian media as Osama Kumail, aged 20. Following the incident, soldiers discovered and destroyed additional explosive devices found in the suspect's car. The Palestinian Authority Health Ministry reported that Kumail was shot near a café and later died at a hospital.
