Yosef-Haim Ohana, who was taken captive from the Nova desert rave on October 7, 2023, has been officially released home to Kiryat Malachi after completing his rehabilitation at Kfar Hamaccabiah in Ramat Gan. Ohana was among the last group of living hostages freed on October 13 and has spent the past six weeks undergoing recovery. During his rehabilitation, he participated in several outings, including a visit to Washington, DC, where he met with the President of the United States. As he departed the rehabilitation center for the final time, he was accompanied by local high school students and drummers from nearby Scouts groups, marking his return home. Some other released hostages remain at the hotel as they continue their treatments at local hospitals.
