The body of Sudthisak Rinthalak, a Thai agricultural worker murdered and abducted by Hamas-led terrorists near Kibbutz Be'eri on October 7, 2023, has been returned to Israel. After forensic identification, officials notified Rinthalak's family of the recovery, which was facilitated by Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Hamas, who handed the remains to the Red Cross and then to Israeli authorities. Rinthalak was 42 years old at the time of his death. Only one slain hostage, police officer Ran Gvili, remains in Gaza. The Israeli government expressed condolences to the Rinthalak family and reaffirmed its commitment to securing the return of the final hostage, urging Hamas to fulfill its obligations under existing agreements.
