The inaugural Kidzink Pearl Cup concluded at Dubai Offshore Sailing Club, drawing over 100 young sailors from 17 countries for one of the Middle East's first international open youth sailing regattas. The event, held from December 15-21, featured competitive races in several classes for sailors aged 8 to 18, alongside three days of Olympic-level coaching from an international team.
Beyond the races, participants engaged in interactive onshore sessions focused on leadership, inclusivity, and clean-water awareness, developed in collaboration with Kidzink's research team. Local and international talent shone throughout the week, with podium finishes across all classes and strong representation from the Dubai Offshore Sailing Club squad.
Charlotte Borghesi, founder and general manager of Kidzink, emphasized the event's commitment to fostering confidence, learning, and friendship among young sailors. She highlighted that the Kidzink Pearl Cup aims to inspire and support youth, marking the start of more educational and sporting initiatives to come.
