The Israeli military has conducted a series of strikes on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, focusing on weapons depots and training facilities. These attacks follow a ceasefire agreement from November 2024 that was intended to end prolonged hostilities, yet clashes and military operations have continued. According to Lebanese health ministry reports, more than 340 people have died in Lebanon due to Israeli fire since the ceasefire.
Recent strikes included attacks near the Syrian border and southern Lebanon, resulting in further casualties. Israel maintains that these operations are necessary to counter threats from Hezbollah and has warned of continued action. Meanwhile, Lebanon, under international pressure, has pledged to disarm Hezbollah in the southern region, though Israel remains skeptical of these efforts and accuses the group of rearming.
