Jordan's Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi and Morocco's Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Bourita held a telephone conversation to discuss strengthening the longstanding relationship between their countries. The ministers reaffirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation in various sectors to serve mutual interests.
They also addressed key regional issues, focusing on the conflict in Gaza and the situation in the occupied West Bank. Both emphasized the importance of maintaining the ceasefire in Gaza, ensuring the continuous delivery of humanitarian aid, and advancing the truce agreement.
The ministers highlighted the need for a clear political path that guarantees the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and called for an end to escalating tensions and unilateral actions in the West Bank. Ongoing coordination on bilateral, regional, and international matters was also agreed upon.
