Reshma, a 32-year-old woman from Kerala, died on Wednesday after an alleged suicide attempt, following the death of her husband Jinesh P Sukumaran in Israel earlier this year. Jinesh, who had moved to Israel for work as a caregiver, was found dead by hanging in July, while the elderly woman in his care was also discovered with fatal stab injuries. Reshma reportedly struggled to cope with her husband's death, attending multiple counselling sessions and surrounding herself with memories of him at home. The couple leaves behind a 10-year-old daughter. Reshma's funeral is scheduled to take place in Mananthavady after postmortem procedures.
