The Saudi Cabinet has welcomed the next phase of the peace plan for the Gaza Strip, expressing support for the establishment of a Palestinian committee to oversee the region and for the Board of Peace announced by United States President Donald Trump. During a session chaired by King Salman, ministers emphasized the urgent need for a ceasefire and humanitarian aid in Gaza, calling for the return of the Palestinian Authority and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state according to international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
The Cabinet also voiced support for integrating the Syrian Democratic Forces into the Syrian state, reaffirming their commitment to Syria's sovereignty and civil peace. In Yemen, Saudi Arabia continues its efforts to resolve the crisis, launching projects worth $507 million to develop health, education, and infrastructure sectors. The Kingdom was recognized as a leading donor to Yemen in 2025, ranking first among Arab countries and second globally.
Ministers highlighted strong growth in non-oil sectors, aligning with the goals of Vision 2030, and approved a series of memoranda of understanding with Pakistan, Iraq, and Kyrgyzstan. Several Saudi officials were promoted to senior positions across various ministries.
