Israeli authorities have notified residents of Idhna village, west of Hebron, about plans to remove the electricity network supplying the Bir Al-Balouta area. Local officials say this move is part of ongoing efforts to tighten control and displace residents closer to the separation wall, facilitating expansion of nearby settlements. Israeli government officials have stated that recent actions in the occupied West Bank are intended to deepen control and establish facts on the ground, which critics describe as annexation. In addition, Israeli forces demolished two homes belonging to the Qabha family in Bartaa, Jenin, citing lack of construction permits, following similar demolitions earlier this year.
