A young man around 25 years old was shot and killed in the northern Arab town of Rameh, according to first responders. Paramedics found him unconscious with no signs of life, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police have opened an investigation into the shooting, but no suspects have been arrested so far. Authorities are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack.
The killing brings the number of homicide victims within Israel's Arab community to 57 since the beginning of the year, according to the Abraham Initiatives, which monitors violence in the sector. The previous year was the deadliest on record for the community, with 252 crime-related deaths reported throughout 2025.
