Model accused of luring older men on dating apps before robbing them

A Los Angeles model and former adult performer is set to stand trial after prosecutors accused her of targeting wealthy older men through dating applications and stealing from them. Adva Lavie, 27, allegedly posed as a girlfriend or companion, gained access to victims’ homes and took cash, credit cards and high-end designer items to support an extravagant lifestyle. A judge ruled there is sufficient evidence for a full criminal trial on six felony counts, including burglary, grand theft and unauthorized use of personal identifying information.

Authorities say at least five victims across Los Angeles County have been identified, with more than 10 additional people recently coming forward. Investigators believe the alleged scheme may extend beyond California to other states and even overseas. Prosecutors claim Lavie cultivated trust through online relationships, sometimes arriving in luxury vehicles and presenting herself as a successful international model.

Additional accusations surfaced from podcast appearances and international trips, where individuals reported missing credit cards and cash after spending time with her. Law enforcement officials allege she used multiple aliases and focused on stealing high-value goods and financial information. Lavie has pleaded not guilty and, if convicted on all counts, faces up to 11 years and eight months in state prison.
