Three United States F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jets crashed over Kuwait in what officials described as a friendly fire incident during active combat operations. The aircraft were supporting Operation Epic Fury, the ongoing Israeli American military campaign against Iran.

According to the United States Central Command, the jets were mistakenly shot down by Kuwaiti air defenses amid attacks involving Iranian aircraft, ballistic missiles, and drones. The incident occurred during a period of intense regional fighting.

All six crew members safely ejected, were recovered, and are reported to be in stable condition. Kuwaiti authorities have acknowledged the incident, and an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the misidentification.
