Qatar is set to invest $2 billion in Indonesia's new sovereign wealth fund, according to Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto. The investment is part of Prabowo's efforts to boost economic growth in the country. The fund, called Danantara Indonesia, was launched in February with an initial budget of $20 billion. It is the country's second sovereign wealth fund, following the Indonesia Investment Authority. The investment from Qatar will help fund energy projects in Indonesia worth around $40 billion.
