A Russia-linked hacking group known as APT29 has launched a phishing campaign targeting European diplomats with invites to fake wine tasting events. The group is attempting to impersonate a major European Ministry of Foreign Affairs and sending out emails with malicious links. The emails include subject lines such as 'Wine tasting event (update date)' and 'For Ambassador's Calendar.' The campaign is focused on European diplomatic entities, including non-European countries' embassies in Europe. The phishing attacks started in January of this year.
