Antisemitism in Canada has reached record numbers, sparking concern for the country's Jewish community ahead of the federal election. Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre has vowed to deport antisemitic foreigners and expressed support for the Jewish community. An annual audit by B'nai Brith Canada revealed a 7.4% increase in reported cases of Jew hatred in 2024, the highest number since 1982.
