Arthur Leggett, one of Australia's last surviving World War II prisoners of war, was farewelled at a state funeral in Perth. He was remembered as a dedicated soldier and cherished community member. Mr Leggett enlisted in the military in 1936 and served with distinction before being captured by German forces at the age of 22.
