People do feel like strangers in Britain - but it's not just because of migration, polling finds

However, new research suggests that feelings of isolation are more linked to wealth and the cost of living. The survey found that Asian or Asian British people were more likely to feel like strangers, and working from home post-pandemic has also contributed to increased isolation.
