RSS activist Udot Chandra addressed a gathering in Madikeri, highlighting India's recognition as a developing nation despite various destabilising forces. Speaking at a torchlight procession organised by the Somwarpet Taluk Hindu Jagarana Vedike for Unified India Day, he urged citizens to work towards national unity. Drawing a parallel with the Israeli people's return to their homeland, Chandra emphasised the importance of unity in strengthening India. The event featured a procession from the Chamundeshwari Temple to the Ganapathi temple, with participation from men, women, and children, and was overseen by local police for security.
