Jerusalem city council member Yosef Chaim Moalem was seriously injured after being assaulted by three individuals near the Latrun Interchange on Wednesday night. The attack occurred when Moalem exited his vehicle to assist a citizen who had been targeted in a stone-throwing incident. The assailants violently attacked Moalem, kicking him and throwing stones, while his family witnessed the event from their car. Moalem lost consciousness and was taken to Shaare Zedek Medical Center for treatment. Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion condemned the attack, urging authorities to apprehend the attackers and ensure justice is served.
