Yonatan Buzaglo, a soldier and yeshiva student, returned to his yeshiva for Simchat Torah carrying a stuffed Torah scroll he found during military operations in Gaza. The scroll, discovered in the home of a terrorist in the Zeitoun neighborhood, held special significance for Buzaglo, who kept and cleaned it after bringing it home. Last year, he was unable to attend the holiday celebrations due to his military duties, but his mother danced with the scroll on his behalf. This year, Buzaglo was able to fulfill his wish and dance with the scroll at the yeshiva, describing the moment as a personal victory and the closing of a meaningful circle.
