Eitan Horn, a former hostage, shared an emotional account of his decision to fast on Yom Kippur for the first time, hoping it would lead to his release from captivity. Horn recounted that he made this commitment on the eve of Rosh Hashanah and, not long after, was freed. Upon his return home from the hospital, hundreds of residents in Kfar Saba lined the streets to welcome him, celebrating his release with balloons, flags, and heartfelt greetings. Horn was released alongside nineteen other hostages, including Eviatar David and Guy Gilboa-Dallal, who were also kidnapped from the Nova music festival. His mother, Ruthie Strom, had campaigned tirelessly for the return of her sons over the past two years.
