The Houthi group has warned that it will resume missile and drone attacks against Israel if the ceasefire in Gaza collapses. This message was delivered in a letter of support to Hamas, broadcast by Houthi media. The newly appointed Houthi chief of staff, Yousif al-Madani, reaffirmed the group's commitment to supporting Hamas, following the death of his predecessor in Israeli airstrikes. Since the start of the Gaza conflict in October 2023, the Houthis have launched numerous attacks on Israel and Israeli-linked vessels. The group has recently declared a state of general mobilization, increased recruitment, and reinforced positions near Marib, while its leader has stated they are preparing for further confrontation with Israel.
