A new report from the Federation of Jewish Communities in the Czech Republic reveals a significant increase in antisemitic incidents in the country. The report documents 4,694 incidents in 2024, marking an 8.5 percent rise from the previous year. Notably, there was a sharp 90 percent surge in reported incidents following the October 7 attack by Hamas. Despite this rise, the Jewish community emphasizes that the Czech Republic continues to be a safe environment for Jews.
