Israel will continue to participate in next year's Eurovision Song Contest following a decision by the event's organizing broadcasters. The meeting addressed calls from several countries to exclude Israel due to concerns over the humanitarian impact of the conflict in Gaza and allegations of unfair voting. Instead of voting on Israel's exclusion, the members agreed on new rules aimed at safeguarding the contest's integrity. In response, the Dutch broadcaster Avrotros announced it would boycott the 2026 contest, which is scheduled to take place in Vienna next May.
