A new memorial grove named 'Bibas Footprints' was inaugurated near Kibbutz Tze'elim to honor Shiri Bibas and her two sons, Ariel and Kfir. The family, President Isaac Herzog, and residents of the western Negev attended the ceremony. The grove commemorates the Bibas family members who were kidnapped from Nir Oz during the October 2023 attack, murdered in captivity, and later returned for burial. The site is also significant as it is close to where Yarden Bibas, Shiri's husband and the children's father, grew up; he was also abducted and spent 484 days in captivity before being released.
