US stocks tick down as tech jitters linger - The Times of India

Wall Street's main indexes slipped on Tuesday as concerns over the high valuations of artificial intelligence stocks persisted. The Dow Jones Industrial Average, S&P 500 Index, and Nasdaq Composite Index all recorded modest declines in early trading, reflecting a market pause after a strong rally earlier in the year.

Adam Sarhan of 50 Park Investments described the pullback as a healthy consolidation following significant gains from April to October. Meanwhile, Boeing shares rose after the company secured a multi-billion dollar contract to supply jets to Israel, amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East.

Investors are also watching for the release of meeting minutes from the United States central bank, seeking clues about potential changes to interest rates. Major technology companies, including Nvidia and Palantir Technologies, experienced declines as part of the broader market movement.
