Right-wing commentator Laura Loomer has publicly attacked Fox News host Tucker Carlson, calling him 'a fraud' and accusing him of hating India. In a series of posts on social media, Loomer claimed Carlson criticises India in the same way he criticises Israel and suggested he unfairly targets both countries. She also mocked him by referencing the manufacturing of his nicotine patches in India.
Loomer’s remarks came after Carlson discussed Israel’s strategic alliances in a recent podcast. He questioned the durability of the United States’ close relationship with Israel, arguing that public opinion in America is shifting and that the long-standing bipartisan consensus may not last.
Carlson speculated that Israel could look toward another major power as a strategic partner, naming India as a possible option due to its size, population, and nuclear capabilities. He also referenced Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address to the Israeli parliament about historical ties between the two nations, and suggested that certain geopolitical shifts, even those seen as harmful to the United States, might be viewed differently from an Israeli perspective.
