Hezbollah launched projectiles from Lebanon into northern Israel early Monday morning, marking its first attack on the region since 2024. Sirens were activated across several northern communities as the Israeli military responded to the incident.
According to the Israeli military, one projectile that crossed into Israeli territory was intercepted by the Israeli Air Force, while several others landed in open areas in line with standard procedures. No injuries or property damage were reported.
The attack signals Hezbollah's formal entry into the ongoing conflict alongside Iran. The incident comes amid heightened regional tensions following Israeli and United States strikes on Iran that killed Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The situation remains under review as developments continue.
