The Israel Defense Forces announced that Home Front Command restrictions will be eased in several regions beginning Monday at 6 a.m., shifting those areas from limited activity to partial activity following a new defensive assessment. The updated policy will apply by region, while current guidelines remain in place until the change takes effect.
The areas affected include the Beit She'an Valley, the Jordan Valley, Samaria, Judea, the Dead Sea area, Western Lachish, the Gaza border communities, Western Negev, Southern Negev, and the Arava. The move is part of a gradual relaxation of restrictions introduced earlier this month during fighting with Iran.
Under the revised rules, schools and workplaces may operate if a standard protected space can be reached within the required time. Outdoor gatherings will be limited to 50 people and indoor gatherings to 100, provided appropriate shelter is accessible. Despite the easing of measures in some areas, officials noted that the broader security situation remains subject to change.
