National Missions Minister Orit Strock announced the death of her 34-year-old daughter, Shoshana Strock, who was found dead in her home in northern Israel. Police have opened an investigation, and the circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear.
In recent months, Shoshana had publicly accused her parents of sexual abuse and described what she called ritual abuse during her childhood. In social media posts and videos, she alleged that she was subjected to exploitation, coercion, and abuse from a young age, including claims of being forced to participate in ceremonies and conversion therapy.
Following the announcement, several government ministers expressed condolences and support for Strock and her family, urging the public not to exploit the tragedy for political attacks.
