Dacia has unveiled the production version of the Striker, its first family station wagon, as it looks to build on strong sales in Europe. The model is based on the Bigster platform and will be slightly longer at 4.62 meters, featuring a raised design and a sloped rear window aimed at competing with popular European station wagons such as the Skoda Octavia, Toyota Corolla, and Volkswagen Golf.

The cabin has yet to be revealed, but it is expected to mirror the Bigster’s interior, including features such as wireless phone charging, a panoramic roof, and adaptive cruise control on higher trims. Engine options are set to include a 1.2 liter mild hybrid producing 150 horsepower and a 1.8 liter full hybrid, with an option for all wheel drive.

Production will begin in Romania in the second half of 2026, with a starting price in Europe of under 25,000 euros. However, better equipped versions are expected to approach 30,000 euros, putting the Striker close in price to established rivals and limiting its competitive edge. It remains unclear when the model will arrive in Israel.
