Dutch authorities are investigating possible Iranian involvement in an arson attack on a synagogue in Rotterdam, Justice Minister David van Weel told parliament. He said the possibility of Iran's role is being explicitly examined, though no definitive link has been established and the investigation remains ongoing.

Prosecutors said four suspects aged 17 to 19 were arrested shortly after the early Friday fire and are believed to have carried out the explosion with terrorist intent. Officials indicated the suspects were most likely recruited to conduct the attack.

The synagogue attack is part of a series of recent incidents in the Netherlands, including an assault on a Jewish school in Amsterdam. A synagogue in Liege, Belgium, was also targeted. Although an extremist group claimed responsibility on social media, authorities are still verifying whether the group was genuinely behind the attacks.
