Israel's military says it has dropped more than 12,000 munitions in its ongoing campaign against Iran, including roughly 3,600 in the capital, Tehran. More than 8,500 strikes have been conducted across the country, with around 540 sorties targeting central and western regions and about 50 missions reaching deep into Iranian territory.

The operation follows months of preparation that intensified after an earlier campaign this year. Military Intelligence officials built an extensive bank of targets and coordinated closely with United States Central Command, describing the level of cooperation as historic.

Israeli officials say the joint efforts are expected to continue even after the current phase of fighting ends, signaling a sustained strategic partnership as the conflict evolves.
