A dog was rescued from the Ayalon River in central Israel after jumping in during a missile siren on Sunday. According to Israel Fire and Rescue Authority official Shai Castro, the animal panicked amid alerts triggered by missile fire from Iran, leapt from its owner's car, and fell into the water. A special rescue team from the Tel Aviv station carried out a complex operation using specialized equipment due to difficult terrain and weather conditions.

The incident unfolded as communities across the region responded to ongoing security threats. The dog was later seen wrapped in a protective blanket following the rescue.

Meanwhile, another dog named Pashosho has captured national attention as the unofficial mascot of the Home Front Command. The golden retriever has appeared in safety instruction videos and news segments, gaining fame for heartwarming clips during periods of heightened tension.

Pashosho has brought comfort to civilians sheltering during sirens, visited wounded soldiers at Sheba Medical Center, and offered support to former hostage Omer Shem Tov after his release. His presence has become a source of relief and unity for many during the conflict.
