Israel expanded its military campaign against Iran, striking multiple facilities linked to weapons development and missile operations. Targets included a base used to train operatives and store missile systems intended to target aircraft, as well as sites involved in the manufacturing of ballistic missile components and weapons batteries.
According to the Israeli military, overnight strikes hit a staging and launch complex operated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, along with ballistic missile launch sites, air defense systems, and observation posts tied to both the Revolutionary Guard and the Iranian military. Israeli forces also said they identified and eliminated several operatives in Tehran who were preparing to carry out missile launches against Israel.
The developments come as President Donald Trump considers sending up to 10,000 additional United States troops to the Middle East amid escalating tensions during the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran.
