Israir has received initial authorization to operate long-haul flights between Tel Aviv and New York, becoming the third Israeli airline to offer nonstop services on this route. The airline expects to receive final approval by June after obtaining additional regulatory permits. Israir plans to launch the Tel Aviv-New York route in 2026, using an Airbus 330 aircraft.
