Two suspects were killed and a police officer was seriously wounded in a shootout in the northern Arab Israeli village of Iksal. The suspects were reportedly on their way to kill a member of a rival group. The police officers returned fire, killing two suspects and injuring a third. In a separate incident, a young man was shot dead in the Bedouin city of Rahat. The death toll of members of the Arab community killed by violence since the beginning of the year is now 83.
