Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that two hostages held in Gaza, Gad Haggai and Judih Weinstein, were killed during an attack by Hamas. The remains of the hostages were recovered by Israel. A total of 251 hostages were taken on Oct. 7, 2023, with 56 still in captivity, of whom Israel believes 33 are dead.
