3 soldiers who refused to return to fighting in Gaza have prison sentences commuted

Three soldiers from the Nahal Infantry Brigade who refused to return to combat in Gaza will not serve prison sentences after significant public backlash. The brigade commander met with the soldiers, acknowledged their contributions, and stressed the importance of discipline during wartime. Citing the unique circumstances, the commander decided to commute their sentences, requiring them to remain on base for an extended period instead of jail time. The soldiers will be removed from combat roles and reassigned to non-combat positions, where they will receive support and mental health care.
