An updated military investigation has revealed that at least 18 armed operatives participated in an assault on an army camp in Khan Younis earlier today. The attackers emerged from a tunnel and fired machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades as they advanced toward the encampment. Some of the assailants managed to breach the camp's defenses, leading to an exchange of gunfire with stationed troops. Military forces responded with both ground fire and airstrikes, resulting in the deaths of at least 10 attackers, while eight others escaped back into the tunnel. Three soldiers were wounded during the incident, with one reported in serious condition. Efforts are ongoing to locate and apprehend the remaining operatives involved in the attack.
