A painting titled 'Portrait of a Lady (Contessa Colleoni)', stolen by the Nazis from Jewish art dealer Jacques Goudstikker in Amsterdam over eighty years ago, has resurfaced in a real estate listing for a home in Argentina. The artwork, created by Italian baroque artist Giuseppe Ghislandi, is recognized as unreturned by the Dutch culture ministry and is featured in a database of stolen works. The house, located in the Parque Luro neighborhood of Mar del Plata, is believed to have belonged to a daughter of Friedrich Kadgien, a senior Nazi official who escaped to Argentina after the war. Reports also suggest Kadgien may have possessed another looted painting by Abraham Mignon, based on recent social media evidence.
