Human rights lawyers in Argentina have filed a criminal complaint seeking the arrest of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should he visit the country. The complaint, submitted to federal courts, accuses Netanyahu and other Israeli authorities of war crimes and crimes against humanity related to a March incident in which 15 people, including first responders, were killed. Although media reports suggest Netanyahu may visit Argentina in September, the government has not confirmed his plans. There is also speculation that Netanyahu may meet with President Javier Milei in New York during the United Nations General Assembly. This latest complaint follows an earlier arrest warrant filed by local human rights groups in August.
